TaTe2 (Tantalum Ditelluride)

TaTe2 Tantalum Ditelluride TaTe2 is metal and a charge density waves (CDW) system with Tcdw ~170K. The layers are stacked together via van der Waals interactions and can be exfoliated into thin 2D layers. Tantalum Ditelluride belongs to the group-V transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDC).
