FeCl2 (Iron Dichloride)

FeCl2 is an insulator with ferromagnetic properties at low temperature. The material has a Curie temperature TC of ~17 K. The layers are stacked together via van der Waals interactions and can be exfoliated into thin 2D layers. FeCl2 belongs to the group transition-metal dichalcogenides.
