SnS (Tin (II) sulphide)
SnS is a direct band gap semiconductor with a band gap of ~1.3 eV. The layers are stacked together via van der Waals interactions and can be exfoliated into thin 2D layers. SnS belongs to the Group-IV monochalcogenides.
